Review
When I first received my D80 phone I was naturally skeptical about using a touch-driven phone in my office. However, after just a few minutes I realized the D80 was a great purchase. The large 7-inch HD touchscreen has a crystal clear picture. It is easy to navigate and the applications are intuitive for novice touchscreen users. After quickly realizing the D80 would be a permanent fixture on my desk, I opened the Switchvox Dashboard on my desktop and immediately began adding my contacts.
Features
In my opinion, one of the best features of the Digium D80 IP phone is the swipe menu. When I swipe from the left I can view my contacts, call logs, voicemail, and parked calls. Swiping from the right allows me to view all staff member calls and availability status. The D80 also makes parking, transfers, and a conference call easy.
Another nice feature is the record button that appears on the screen during a call. With one touch, I can begin recording a call for future presentations, training or archiving. The D80 home screen can be customized with your company logo for a professional look.
